Roar Like a Lion - a Garrett County Service Day

Beat the winter blues and feel the warmth that comes with serving your community! We will have an afternoon of community service in partnership with local Lions Clubs. The Lions Clubs will supply materials, instructions, and volunteers to lead a variety of projects that benefit our community. Drop in for an hour or the entire time. Student service hours will be available.

Some of the activities include:
-cards for veterans, shelters and nursing homes;
?-Braille cards for the blind
-painting 3D printed Meshach Browning panels for inclusion in a public art project
-making CARE bags and fleece scarves for the homeless;
-making appreciation bags for first responders;
-painting friendship rocks;
-making dog/cat toys and finally making Linus blankets.
