Join us at Deep Creek Lake, MD for a special Earth Day event focused on protecting the environment we love to explore. Whether you’re diving in or walking the shoreline, your efforts will make a real impact.
Red Beard Diving, PADI, Dewitt Outdoors and Garrett College’s Phi Theta Kappa are teaming to bring this event together.
Divers: Dive Against Debris
Certified divers are invited to take part in our official Dive Against Debris event. This is a great opportunity to make a difference and earn your Dive Against Debris certification.
Tanks will be provided on a limited, first come first serve basis
Mesh bags will be available for underwater debris collection

Option to caravan from West Shore Scuba at 7:00 AM
Shoreline Cleanup
Not a diver? You can still help out on land. Join our shoreline cleanup team and help remove litter from around the lake.
Gloves and trash bags will be provided
Open to all ages – families and friends welcome. All minors should be accompanied by an adult.
