Community Shred Day at the Chamber

Consumer fraud and identity theft are putting communities at risk. To raise awareness and to promote privacy protection, The Garrett County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Community Shred Day at the Visitors Center in McHenry on Friday, June 9 from 10 am to 2:00 pm. All are welcome to take advantage of free, secure, on-site shredding services provided by Sunrise Shred. 

Which documents should you shred? (limit 4 boxes per person)

• Old tax forms
• Junk mail
• Documents with a signature that you no longer need
• Old bank statements
• Credit or credit card offers

While you're here enjoy the offerings of Kona Ice, D's Eats, and The Travel Mug from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Additional vendors and members of the Deep Creek Farmers Market have also been invited to set-up in the Visitors Center parking lot.
