The Weedrags + The Masons

The Weedrags are an Appalchian power trio, formed in Washington County, Pennsylvania in the fall of 2010. Their songs, rooted in fields of Bluegrass, Country, Old-Time, and Swing, resonate with the hard working spirit engrained in the Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia foothills. Songwriting and musicianship blend to form a unique, mountain band sound. Tight vocal harmonies highlight superb musicianship with a blue country feel.

The Weedrags have performed at festivals, clubs, and community events throughout Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, and New York. They have opened for regional and national touring acts such as; The Rumpke Mountain Boys, Larry Keel and The Natural Bridge, Town Mountain, The Steeldrivers, The Black Lillies, and The Carolina Chocolate Drops. They've also been seen at Hickory Fest, the AmeriServ Flood City Music Festival, The Three River's Arts Festival, The Whiskey Rebellion Festival, The Edinboro Fine Arts and Music Festival, as well as others throughout the region.
