Snowflake Toddler Photo Contest

The seventh annual Winter Fest in downtown Oakland, which features ice sculpting throughout the town and other events, will once again include the Snowflake Toddler Photo Contest. Winter Fest is set for Feb. 15 to 16.

Persons may bring photographs of toddlers age 2 to 4 years to Favorite Things Corner Gift Shoppe, located at the corner of Third and Alder streets, up until the day of judging (Feb. 15). Photos should be no smaller than 4"x6" nor larger than 8"x10".

The photos will be put on display at Favorite Things Corner Gift Shoppe starting February 1, and people may vote for their favorite shots with one quarter per vote. The proceeds will go to the town's Main Street program. The voting will continue until noon on Saturday, Feb. 15.

The photograph earning the most votes will be declared the winner on that Saturday at 3 p.m at the gazebo on 2nd Street. The winner will receive a basket full of goodies including gift certificates and item from local businesses.
