QuickBooks Payroll Course

Garrett College Continuing Education and Workforce Development has scheduled a hands-on course on QuickBooks Payroll. The course will be held on Tuesdays, October 6 and 13, from 6 p.m to 9:15 p.m. at the main campus in McHenry. This course is designed for those who perform payroll duties in an office environment. Topics include setting up payroll items utilizing QuickBooks software, learning when to file Federal and State payroll and unemployment forms, and creating 1099s and W-2s and associated year-end required mailings and returns. The course is being instructed by Sarah J. Wilt, a Certified Bookkeeper, QuickBooks ProAdvisor and a Licensed Tax Preparer with her own firm in Grantsville for the last ten years.
