Project Grant Workshop - New/Revised Information
Mountain Maryland Gateway to the West Heritage Area Announces Maryland Heritage Areas Authority (MHAA) Project Grant Opportunity Grants for capital, non-capital and programming projects relating to the preservation of historical, archeological, natural and cultural resources and heritage tourism are available to entities located in Maryland's Mountain Maryland Gateway to the West Heritage Area. For those interested in applying, important dates/deadlines are approaching for MHAA project grants. Intent to Apply forms are due February 12 and final applications are due March 1, 2013. For more information please sign up for one of the following workshop/webinars offered by MHAA.

Nonprofits and government units may apply for projects to occur in the certified boundaries of the Mountain Maryland Gateway to the West (Garrett County). Grant projects should align with the goals and priorities described in the Management Plan and/or the heritage area Five-Year Action Plan, which may be viewed at http://www.visitdeepcreek.com/pages/HeritageArea/
