Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra's Brass Quintet

The Pittsburgh Brass continues its home city's rich brass tradition with powerful, compelling performances and a versatile sound.  Having established themselves as orchestral musicians, the group's six players formed the Pittsburgh Brass to bring a symphony orchestra's excitement and passion to a chamber music setting.  In keeping with this philosophy, each Pittsburgh Brass concert features a wide variety of music performed with warmth, character and exacting artistic standards.  The musicians' depth of experience and musical knowledge informs a concert experience of unparalleled quality.  Salvatore DiVittorio, Music director of the Chamber Orchestra of New York, hails the Pittsburgh Brass as "an exciting new ensemble.  An impressive sound...A terrific new voice in the world of brass groups!"
