For those who interact with dogs as their owner, caretaker, walker or sitter, groomer or are employed or volunteer at a kennel, veterinary clinic, rescue or shelter, then come join us for this upcoming class. Become better informed about the best choices of breed and behaviors for a family pet, identify the appropriate training and training methods for you and your lifestyle and utilize the basic training methods when working with problems and/or unwanted behavior issues. Participants will learn new ways of communicating with their pet and understand how humans may sometimes contribute to a pet?s misbehavior. This is an informative and fun way to learn skills and gain insights to help participants and their dogs have a happy relationship. This class is for HUMAN students only. Instructor will provide her dog for demonstrations. The course is being taught by local resident, Barbara Glover. From a very early age, Glover has always had a passion for working with dogs, not just having pets, but for what she could teach them to do. She has trained dogs to compete in obedience, agility, rally, dock diving and some field work.
