Mountain Maryland Native Plant Festival

A large variety of native plants and nature-themed artisan items from: Wood Thrush Native Plant Nursery, Evergreen Heritage Center, Friends of New Germany State Park, Keen and Bright, Peggy Nixon Designs, Marta Fiscus Photography, and Mountain Creek Glass. Family-friendly activities, nature walks, plus special guest, Dr. Candy DeBerry, Washington & Jefferson College will present, “Eat Your Backyard! Tasty and Nutritious Treats from Maryland’s Native Plants” Conservation education displays from: University of Maryland Extension - Garrett County Master Gardeners, Evergreen Heritage Center, Garrett Trails, Maryland Conservation Corps, Garrett County Forestry Board, Trout Unlimited, American Forest Foundation, Garrett County Solid Waste & Recycling, Friends of New Germany State Park, and Maryland Native Plant Society.
