MoonShadow Cafe presenting Gary Copeland--Brunch Show!

The solo musical project of Gary Copeland pays homage to the mountain music of the Appalachian region. The tunes are permeated with an aura in the tradition of Uncle Dave Macon, Dock Boggs, and Charlie Poole with blues and knock-down variations.

By fusing influences ranging from traditional to tin-pan alley, Spence's Rye takes traditional Appalachian back to its roots in lonesome, solitary performance. The music is a haunting amalgam of various oldtime styles, enthusiastic playing, and select original tunes that will get your foot tapping.
