May 2019 Marketing Roundtable: DLLR Apprenticeship Program & Open Discussion
The Garrett County Chamber of Commerce invites all Chamber members to the next Marketing Roundtable event on May 15, 2019 at 11 am which will feature opportunities for the hospitality and tourism industries by the Office of Workforce Development of Maryland's Department of Labor, Licensing & Regulation (DLLR).
Local and State resources will be shared and discussed including DLLR programs, funding pathways for training, growth opportunities and business support services. Jennifer Runkles, Angella Moon and Teresa Mena from the Maryland Apprenticeship Team will speak about utilizing apprenticeship as a resource to assist tourism-related businesses in Garrett County. Learn how to recruit, retain, and advance staff and get details on available funding resources to help your business grow. Open discussion will also be held to hear feedback from local businesses to share news, challenges and growth opportunities in the region.
The event is free to attend but is limited to Chamber members and registration is required as space is limited to the first 30 people. The meeting will be held in the Chamber's conference room at the Visitors Center in McHenry. To register, click "Register Now" above to reserve your spot!
