Matt's Blues at MoonShadow Cafe

Based in Johnnie Johnson's hometown of Fairmont, WV, Matt Jordan digs the blues. Thanks to a two-year gig with the Dennis McClung Blues Band, and the influences of such musicians as Soup Camel, Miss Freddye, and Tom Roberts, the blues have become a love affair.

A genuine performer, Matt sings and plays the piano with conviction. Blues, funk, gospel, and New Orleans jazz are his musical backbone. His rhythmic left hand drives the music with enthusiasm, and his dynamic personality gives each performance a life of its own.
