IMPROVING OUR WORKER POOL – INFORMATIONAL SESSIONS

To address the ongoing workforce challenges for employers, your Chamber and Garrett County Public Schools are pleased to announce the creation of the Work Ethic Diploma program for high school seniors. By meeting established criteria, these students will earn a Work Ethic Diploma upon graduating. The purpose is to create a pipeline of prospective employees who possess those quality attributes desired by employers. Students learn how having the right work ethic is financially beneficial. The program is launching this spring and we are hosting two informational sessions for all businesses interested in finding quality employees.
