Great Pumpkin Festival

Sixth year of pumpkin mania on the mountain. Registration opens at 10 am for pre-carved pumpkin contest, followed by the greased pumpkin relay, the Great Pumpkin Regatta, where numbered pumpkins are released to ride the rapids for prizes and the "anything that floats" Hooligan race. More than $500 in prizes. Proceeds benefit the Dove Center (domestic violence shelter).
