GILL Presents: Pickleball for Beginners

Garrett Institute for Lifelong Learning (GILL) sessions are FREE to all GILL members, but members are encouraged to register. Classes are available to GILL members. To become a member of GILL, contact Continuing Education and Workforce Development at Garrett College at 301-387-3069. 'Pickleball for Beginners' is a four-session introduction to the fundamentals of the popular sport, pickleball. Presenter Steve Stromwell will discuss equipment, techniques, and rules of the game while participants learn a fun new way to exercise and meet new people. Participants are encouraged to bring tennis shoes and the rest of the equipment will be provided.
