Garrett County Public Safety Day

Please support our Volunteer Fire Departments and Rescue Squads. Their dedication and giving of their time saves LIVES, Property and Taxes.  Our fire service and rescue squads in Garrett County are manned primarily by Volunteers. People, just like you, but who drop what they are doing at home or at work to come to the aid of their fellow citizens - no matter what time of day it is, no matter what the weather is! Please help support Shaina, who has devoted her own time in the planning and the hosting of this event to help support our County Volunteer Emergency Services.  There will be many activities such as:
- hose maze
- public safety information
- fire truck tours
- rescue squad tours w/simulation
- helicopter tour
- equipment demo
- firefighter challenge
- K-9 demo
