Celebrate the cultural heritage of Celtic peoples from Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and Brittany and their influence on Appalachia with a daylong festival by the bonnie banks of the Youghiogheny River in the Town Park in Friendsville, Maryland.  Bring the whole family! 
 
Many activities planned throughout the day, including: 
• Traditional and contemporary Celtic music  
• Irish and Scottish dancing
• Highland athletes
• Pipe & Drum bands
• Glen of Clans 
• Living history and educational presentations
• Sheep and Duck Herding
 
• Ancient Art of Scything
 
• Celtic Marketplace
• Bairns (Children’s) activities area
