Barbara Hurd to Read at the Oakland Library

Poet and author Barbara Hurd will read from her latest book of creative non-fiction: Walking the Wrack Line: On Tidal Shifts and What Remains. She also will sell and sign books. Dr. Hurd teaches creative writing at Frostburg State University and in the Stonecoast MFA program at the University of Southern Maine. She is the author of 3 books of creative non-fcition, a collection of poetry, and other essays and poems that have appeared in numerous publications. This event is free and open to the public. No registration is required but a courtesy call to the library at the contact listed below is appreciated.
