Annual Apple Butter Boil

The staff of Herrington Manor & Swallow Falls invites you to come and join us for our Annual Apple Butter Boil! This event will take place near the main parking area at Swallow Falls State Park. Old fashioned apple butter is made outside over an open fire, stirred by a long-handled paddle in a big copper kettle! Learn some of the tricks of the trade and try your hand at stirring the butter. Apple butter, fresh sweet corn, hamburgers, hotdogs, & drinks will be available throughout the day for our park guests!
